The perfect new development in clarification overflow technology
The APA - Pipe clarifier overflow (APA-RKÜ) is used in combined sewer systems, e.g. for rainwater overflow basins (flow-through basins).
In contrast to catch basins, flow-through basins also have a throttled clarification overflow, which only starts up before the basin overflow after the basin has been filled and feeds mechanically clarified mixed water to the water body.
As a rule, the clarification overflow is designed for the clarification overflow water quantity (Qkrit). This water volume regulation is in line with the flow time, flow rate and surface charging of the flow basins.
The APA-RKÜ was developed to minimize costs during the construction of sewage overflow structures and to make the structures more effective.
The optimum performance is achieved in combination with a dam shield. The simplicity of the design speaks for the application of this APA system.
