Fine screening plant with dam target retention (dam shield) for mechanical cleaning of municipal mixed water in rainwater treatment plants
Fine screening plant (APA-FSR)
Fine screening plant with dam target retention (dam shield) for mechanical cleaning of municipal mixed water in rainwater treatment plants
For economic / technical reasons, wastewater treatment plants (sewage treatment plants) are generally designed for 2-fold dry weather conditions. The water quantities, which exceed the sewage plant capacity during rain, are treated in rain overflow basins.
Due to the large, irregular quantities of rainwater or mixed water, a considerable proportion of mixed water with pollutants (plastics, paper, etc.) enters the water body. This waste causes considerable impairments in/at the water bodies. The effects on water bodies are long-term. Contemporary water protection requires the use of high-quality technical equipment to preserve our environment.
Convincing advantages
- Constant water level target due to combination of water level indicator and fine screen for optimum utilisation of basin volume
- Highest mechanical cleaning performance
- High flow capacity due to horizontal arrangement of the screen area
- Screenings are fed to the rain basin/sewage treatment plant when the water level drops
- Short cleaning intervals (due to upstream baffle, arrangement of the fine screen)
- Retrofitting is possible without any problems
