Backwater flap with rubber flap (APA-RK)
Backwater valves are valves frequently used in storm water overflow basins and sewage treatment plants, where high demands are placed on function and reliability.
Low opening pressure and low flow resistance are just as important as good sealing in the blocking direction, especially when used in raw wastewater.
The function must be guaranteed for years without major maintenance. Our backwater valves are particularly suitable for this area of application. A soft-sealing rubber flap made of wastewater-resistant neoprene reliably seals the valve and at the same time fulfils the function of a hinge.
There are no bearings or joints requiring maintenance. The basic bodies of the non-return valves are made of stainless steel in various designs for flanging, dowelling and concreting. Nominal widths up to 1500 mm are available.
